I started an account with Fair FX and I've had the funds from my small business go into this account. For some reason, the money is completely inaccessible and has been for over a week.
The money just says pending. I have never known transactions to take this long in banking.
It's completely outrageous that a person can't access their own money, especially during a cost of living crisis. I shouldn't have to phone them to ask why I can't have my own money.

Complaint and thinking of leaving
I sent 42 lb in this bank account I sent it from a bank it's called the gold bank but he still can send money in and send money out it's still a bank but these were saying it want a bank and you get a bank card a sort code and account number they will send it back they let me style for four days with no money that's the only bad thing about this bank plus when you send money out the bank it they charge you for sending it but the door charger for putting it in that's the number of Finn about this bank the reason why I give them good report now because they give me my money but they didn't think about me when I was starving for four days with no money that's the only bad thing about this bank I only give them all them stars because they give me my money back end but they should have done this from the beginning but they let me struggle and that's the only bad thing about this bank I have sent a receipt of to prove the money went in but I wait nearly five days to get the money and they're let me struggle for five days we no fooled on normal that's the only bad thing about the bank just be careful when you pop money in this bank it is a chance to take it out but in a chance for putting it in that's the only thing I can say about this bank

Loaded my account with Japanese’s yen asked for card to go in wallet and although replied nothing will work and now in Japan and can’t get to my money - I’m furious!!
The app keeps saying 'internal server error. Try again' - nothing is happening?!
Please help. I ultimately managed to transfer funds myself and downloaded a new app, but the only contact says the email address is incorrect, which it isn't.

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Lack of care with my account
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. FairFx did nothing unfortunately, i chased continually until my money was paid back into my account.
The following day i had an email confirming this had happened.
i am still chasing for a reason why my account has been mismanaged on 2 occasions now within 6 weeks with "phantom" transactions. I last emailed asking for an explanation as to what had gone wrong, no reply as of todays date.
Constant emails, online chats as no phone numbers are made available. took 5 days to resolve. i use the card as a fuel card, adding money each month to help me budget ] End of April, i have 2 balances on the card , pounds and euros. In 1 day, 3 transactions, exchanging my pound to euros, then the whole balance disappeared.
No reasons. my first concern was fake transactions , but their app shows internal transfers??. This time 6 days to resolve, mailing daily and spending ages on their chat line , only to be told its a technical issue and they are "speaking to their team"!!. Really unhappy with the haphazard way my account is being managed.
Now resolved, the money has reappeared [ nice of them! ] but i am chasing to find out why this has happened.
i also use the card as a foreign currency card, so dont want my money to disappear when im next on holiday. Overall, a really poor service and mismanagement of my finances.

Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue through email communications and transfer requests, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or resolution.
To provide context, I have been receiving emails regarding transfer quotes, but there has been no communication regarding the status of my account or the reason for my restricted access.
As a result, my capital remains inaccessible, and I am left with no assurance that I will be able to retrieve my funds.
This situation is highly distressing, as my financial resources are effectively held hostage without any clear explanation or avenue for recourse. It is deeply concerning that despite reaching out to customer service for assistance, I have not received any meaningful assistance or clarification for seven weeks and counting.
As a loyal customer, I find this lack of communication and resolution to be unacceptable and unprofessional. At this juncture, I am left with no choice but to explore alternative avenues for recourse, including seeking legal advice to address this matter.
I urge you to prioritize this issue and provide prompt and transparent communication regarding the status of my account and the steps being taken to rectify the situation.
I expect a swift resolution that ensures the release of my trapped capital and restores access to my Fair FX account.
Please treat this matter with the urgency and attention it deserves. I eagerly await your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this ongoing ordeal.

Worst service I've ever had. I was trying to make a call, and Google said this is the number, but when I tried to call, it said something else.

You have failed to supply my new card\ Please telephone me urgently. I will NOT talk via your stupid robot. What on earth has happened to your once wonderful customer service?

No support provided . No customer service to help by phone. Rubbish online banking system and urgent support is available

I ring you up to talk to somebody but I never taught to anybody eats was asking for the 4G jits on my bank card I want you to speak to custard and service and I never got fruit pot fruit to them they put me through to somebody else I didn't even speak to somebody on your site on your phone number never put me through to coastal Missouri they just was asking for the bank card number

I was unable to retrieve Pin as card was not activated. Im unable to activate additional card as FairFX have not sent me an email invite well my husband actually so we are unable to use his card abroad!
Its so frustrating you cant call and speak to a human. Not happy will probably close account.

Mistake with currency
My Daughter put money in it was taking 3 and 4 days to transfer to my account she also tried to put money in my account but wouldnt transfer which for some reason turned into pesos in her account even though you don't have that currency I went through 4 different phone numbers before I got any help your live chat doesn't even click on so a wate of time

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I was able to log on after way to many emails and stupid advise.
I figured it out by myself.The out come is that I will use another company for my travel money card.
I will no longer use the fair fx card. Its impossible to speak to anyone all they offer is BOTS and emails that don't answer the questions you ask.
Nothing happened
You can't speak to anyone. I just went round and round in circles.
All they wanted me to do was set up an account and get a new card.
I need a new pin number not a new account.
Over an hour later nothing was sorted.
I need to speak to a human not a Bot
Don't know what to do next.

Rang straight away I.e. 10 minutes
Can someone explain why my card was eaten by the Waitrose cash machine in Weston-super-Mare and when it or a replacement will be received.

Waited 27 minutes whilst the screen said were answering calls in 7 minutes. Still not sorted so tried another way and it said 1 to 3 days.
I cant get access to my money, will be moving to another system as soon as I can and also reporting them to the financial ombudsman. Absolute disgrace.

Abysmal. They’ve changed their system so my card no longer works. To get a new one they need my address I’ve been trying for a week to get through on customer service which is the only way to do this.
Cant access my funds on the card -cant get through to anyone to make a change of address. No response to emails other than a message which says well get back within three days

Communication is near enough non existence in the UK. Extremely slow to respond to emails.
They do not have a telephone number for you to chat to a representative. The "Customer Support" telephone number on Google is a automated number that is only for lost or stolen cards.
Not impressed at all considering the money on the card does not belong to them. I WOULD STRONGLY RECCOMEND YOU LOOK AT OTHER CARD PROVIDERS.
